About the role
As the Mechanical Coordinator you will play a significant role in the safe and efficient daily operations at SIMEC Tahmoor.
You will be responsible for:
Prepare, supervise and communicate the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant and installations at the Longwall
Effectively utilise the Maintenance Management System to develop and close out work orders, and to monitor planned completion schedules
Coordinate parts, labour, and equipment as required to undertake the maintenance plans and major breakdowns
Monitor the effectiveness of the entire maintenance cycle to identify improvements to the planning process - action plans, major delays, and works conducted
Analyse all the information to develop the short, medium and long term plans from: routine preventative maintenance schedules, condition monitoring reports, inspections, hazard identification, risk management, failure analysis and shift reports
