About the Role: The Nurse or Midwife will provide clinical care to babies in the special Care Nursery. At times the nurse or midwife may be required to work in other areas of the Maternity Unit. The Nurse or Midwife will have current knowledge and skill in the care of babies requiring additional support in the Special Care Nursery and the appropriate experience to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The Nurse or Midwife will be a mentor, clinical education resource and support for other less experienced nursing and midwifery staff.
