We are looking for an Environment Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain monitoring solutions for our IT environments.
As the Environment and Automation Engineer you will work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to automate IT processes and workflows, streamline Environments management, and improve system performance and reliability.
As the Environment and Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for IT environments, including configuration management, monitoring and templates for infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Strategizing, Design, and Implement monitoring systems pipelines for automation and tools for Application, servers, and other IT assets.
- Identifying opportunities for automation by working closely with various teams to understand and prioritize their needs thus reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.
- Configuring and supporting the performance and health of the IT infrastructure to identify and troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools and systems.
- Analysing monitoring data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Developing custom automated scripts and tools as needed for day-to-day Environment management.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of Environment automation and monitoring systems, procedures, templates, and playbooks.
- Continuously evaluating and improving automation solutions to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
