We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Team, supporting and servicing the APAC regional Subsea Projects. It is a role that will present plenty of opportunity to grow, apply your knowledge, skills and experience in DOF’s core activities.

Join us as our new Contracts Specialist

We are looking for another member to join our APAC Team; a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative and enthusiastic people. In this broad reaching function and role, you will enjoy a variety of tasks covering both commercial and risk management, including specific support to the Tendering process where your experience and interpretation of client-issued legal and contractual terms, will mitigate risk with proposed qualifications and subsequent negotiations. You will be part managing the DOF Group intercompany cross-functional and cross-regional service agreements, covering specialised equipment and vessel charters as well. With a keen eye detail, you would help improve overall process and provide input to the maintenance and development of global supply chain standards and processes.

In this role you will be confident with presenting your findings and recommendations across all levels, up to and including executive management and create overall value to the business and take full ownership of your accountabilities within the team.

If you are a team player, who would like to work closely with people from different parts of the world and covering both local and international contractual matters, we would love for you to apply.

You will have :

  • A tertiary qualification in law, procurement, business management or engineering.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in the full range of procurement and contractual activities within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of contracting principles, particularly liability/indemnity regimes, insurance, warranty obligations, variations/claims processes and dispute resolution.
  • Experience in the delivery and lead times for diverse scopes across multiple projects.
  • Well-developed communication and negotiating skills and your astute commercial acumen will see you achieve save and sustainable contracts, set-up for growth and support, whilst being completely aligned with the DOF Group Values.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in managing and prioritising a large variety of requests and pressures and familiar with working strictly to package budgets.

Reporting to the Manager of Project Services, APAC.
