The Communications Branch is looking for a high-performing Editor (APS6) for the department?s flagship newspaper publication Vetaffairs and electronic newsletter, e-news. This position sits within the Newsroom Team, which is responsible for delivering high quality communication products for the department and Ministerial offices aligned with DVA?s communication priorities, and to support the wellbeing of the veteran community. The successful applicant will have strong writing and editing skills. They will have experience in compiling, editing and writing engaging communications materials within tight deadlines across a wide array of subject matter. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills, sound judgement, creativity and an ability to engage regularly with DVA?s Senior Executive, Ministerial Offices and other government agencies and stakeholder organisations.
