Balha’s is also renowned for producing great coffee. The store features a spacious seating area upstairs, and café style seating outside, so whatever the occasion, Balha’s can cater to your needs.
Duties:
• Prepare, bake and service a fresh selection of Lebanese pastries daily.
• Prepare stock items to recipes, stock portions appropriately to ensure fresh product and speed of service.
• Production of select cakes and sweets to order and to purchase online and instore.
• Inform shortages of stocked items and unprepared goods, assist in appropriate ordering for the volume of service and production.
• Prepare a variety of pastry fillings.
• Develop new recipes, concepts, and dishes to a high standard.
Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pastry Cook.
• Detailed knowledge of food and produce/sweets.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant.
