Permanent Registered Midwives Maternity Ward Ashford Hospital Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital. Ashford Hospital is seeking to recruit experienced, permanent Registered Midwives within our busy and renowned Maternity unit. The Maternity unit at Ashford Hospital is currently responsible for the delivery of over 1,500 babies per year making it the busiest private maternity service in South Australia. It boasts 7 delivery suites, a 20 bed Postnatal ward and provision for up to 12 babies in our Level 5 Special Care Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Midwifery nursing. Ashford Hospital is a private not-for-profit 230 bed hospital. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
