We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.com We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Global Logistics function based in Prestons, NSW. This role will require working morning shift Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm. This is a hands on role, supporting both client groups at the site. As a Team Manager your role will be to direct, coordinate and meet service objectives for the customer. You will also be responsible for leading the warehouse team to ensure outstanding results are achieved whilst driving a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Manage warehousing activities and ensure work is performed safely
Drive a strong safety culture and safety initiatives across the warehouse
Building and promoting a team environment that works collaboratively
Tolls reputation for leading edge logistics solutions is fostered with customer through identifying, opportunities for innovative solutions and progressed to a stage that can be adopted by the business
Toll's key stakeholders both internal and external are engaged regularly and respectfully to accomplish goals of both parties resulting in collaborative and productive long-term relationships
Compliance requirements of the warehouse are continually reviewed and reported to ensure both the customer and Toll's financial and audit expectations are met
People are engaged and managed to ensure a positive workplace culture that meets the organisations compliance requirements

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:

3 -5 Years in Logistics and Warehouse Management
Demonstrated previous experience in managing a warehouse function
Proven experience in successfully managing employee base in a complex industrial industry
Intermediate MS Office skills and other office-based technologies
Flexible to work various hours in line with operational requirements
Provides focus and guidance to direct reports through collaboration and coaching to achieve performance goals
Communicates at a level that clearly conveys information and ideas to a range of stakeholders through a variety of medium
Builds positive employee experiences through timely and appropriate feedback and engagement to strengthen the knowledge and skills of others.
