Investment & Activation Roles. Trading under Publicis Media Australia
Location: Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane
Investment Executive (aka: Investor, Activation Executive, Planning & Activation Executive, Senior Activation Executive, Senior Planning & Activation Executive, Associate Activations Manager)
The purpose of the Investment Executive role is to autonomously plan and implement client campaigns -they are ultimately responsible for the delivery of all client activity. They will help lead the delivery of communication plans and management of offline and digital campaigns from buying and implementation through to reporting and the delivery of holistic campaign learnings. Work in collaboration with the wider Spark team to deliver integrated and creative plans that considers all vehicles (display, SEM, SEO, Social) and mainstream media at every possible opportunity.
Internal relationship management?
• Manage relationships with internal teams and relevant external groups e.g. media owners and partner agencies in ways to benefit clients and Spark to achieve their business objectives.?
• Work in collaboration with the relevant internal resources and the Snr Planning Exec/ Client Manager to create effective cross channel communication plans.?
• Search for new,?innovative?and relevant communications ideas and present these to internal teams.?
Trafficking?and tracking campaigns?
• Be proficient in using 3rd party ad serving tools such as DoubleClick & Sizmek?
• Work with Snr Planning Exec and/or Client Manager to deliver ROI tracking recommendations for all client campaigns.?
• Support Coordinator to ensure that all elements have been trafficked correctly and tracking has been implemented on the sites (check that all tags are reporting)? Campaign Management & Finance processes?
• Reconcile campaign delivery and ensure the final delivered plan reflects billings.?
• Check proformas each month during invoicing time and execute any changes that may be required.?
• Attend to account queries immediately and have zero outstanding account queries on a weekly basis.?
Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 package
Investment Manager (aka: Activations Manager)
• The Manager level opportunities bring campaigns to life - using Publicis (and individual media brands) Investment & Activation Model & Philosophy:
• Work with the team to drive negotiations for clients with media partners and secure additional incentives over and above entitlements.
• Keep pace with market knowledge that will aid negotiations with publishers and inform clients and the wider team.
• Negotiate campaign trading positions where there are no long term deals in place across all media, ensuring all benchmarks (client & internal), investment strategies & contractual agreements are met.
• Optimise and track all campaign variables to ensure all objectives are met, work with the Client Manager to ensure all planning ideas/strategies are delivered through the activation process.
• Understand the PMX product offering (inc Apex & Screens) to ensure clients are able to take advantage of appropriate solutions
• Ensure appropriate PMX briefing and negotiation process followed to deliver best outcomes
• Expert understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape
• Experience across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Have a full understanding and experience using the following tools: eTAM, BMD, Roy Morgan, EMMA, eRAM, Nielsen Digital/ Answers, Sizmek and/or DCM, MOVE, AQX Fusion
• Strong experience of buying across MTV, RTV and STV with a strong track record of delivering against goals
• Experience of buying across all offline media, digital buying experience beneficial
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 package
Investment Director (aka: Activations Director)
Client Partner
• Work with Client Leads to identify client objectives / positioning and proactively develop solutions which assist in transforming our client relationships by providing genuine value creation.
• Responsible for client leadership on investment approaches, partnerships and landscape opportunities and the overall delivery of client KPIs and campaign delivery.
• Drive proactive recommendations that solve client business goals.
• Sets the framework for investment approaches
Product Leader
• Champion the Publicis product offerings and when/where are they best deployed, delivering on diversified revenue targets.
• Be familiar with PMX deals and manage the implementation for clients.
• Keep abreast of market updates, how they impact clients and update Investment approach/propositions accordingly
Media Partner
• Maintain strong and genuine relationships with media.
• Ensure media are treated as partners and work collaboratively with them to deliver client objectives.
• Champion strong and genuine relationships with media.
• Bring Media partners along the client journey discussing topline client objectives
Salary 100,000 - $130,000 package
• All of the above roles require a relevant tertiary qualification with 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role OR a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in lieu of qualification.
