Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a growing specialist practice! Your new company Hays has partnered with a Dermatology Clinic who are dedicated to providing effective health services to their clients. They are an established business, servicing clients across Brisbane's Southside. We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their friendly team on a full-time basis, located in Brisbane's Inner City. Your new role As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
Acting as first point of contact for all patients in a professional and courteous manner
Answering phone calls and emails and responding to enquiries from patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Scheduling appointments and maintaining the appointment diary
Checking patients in and out, verifying insurance/Medicare information, and collecting payments
Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the care they need
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
Assisting with any other adhoc administration tasks, such as filing, processing mail, or ordering stock.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or a similar role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
A professional presentation and a customer-oriented attitude
A friendly demeanour and a team player
