We are looking for an enthusiastic new Senior Dental Assistant and Front Desk Co-ordinator to join our amazing team. You will be filling a position vacated by a staff member going for full-time studies - immediate start date and training provided on commencement.

About the role
Dental Assistant role includes but not limited to:
Assisting with general and surgical dental procedures
Clinical co-ordinating for facial cosmetic procedures
Being flexible and adaptable to clinical scenarios
Proficient use of a 3D scanner
Building rapport and ensuring patient comfort
Processing and Sterilising clinical instruments
Maintaining high standards of chair-side infection control and dental equipment maintenance
Stock inventory management
Lab work management
Front Office Co-ordinator role includes but not limited to:
Greeting and welcoming patients into the clinic
Building rapport with patients
Attending to phone calls and emails in a timely manner
Scheduling and managing the appointment book.
Communicating and explaining treatment plans to patients
Patient recall management
Specialist referrals and Lab work co-ordination
Receiving payments and bank reconciliation
Managing and ordering stock
The Role is 4.25 days a week with 3 days being chair-side whilst 1 day on front desk. To accommodate our patients, we do operate a half day Saturday every fortnight as well. You will have 1 fixed RDO per week!
About you
Minimum 1 years dental experience preferred but not necessary.
Highly professional demeanour and great personal presentation
The ability to think on your feet while maintaining an eye for detail
Possess a passion for holistic patient care- many of our patients know our staff by name and always ask for them!
Willing to work in a fun, collaborative and dynamic team.
Experience with HICAPS and D4W advantageous but not essential.
Sound computer skills
