About the role
As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of units within speech pathology at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to the institutes research course and administrative functions.
At level C you will:
- provide leadership in developing, teaching, coordinating, and moderating units in speech pathology;
- undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
- supervise students undertaking project units, honours courses and research higher degrees; and
- participate in team projects and various committee meetings.
At level D you will:
- make a significant contribution to developing, teaching, coordinating, and moderating units in speech pathology;
- provide leadership for the development, implementation and monitoring of student retention and success strategies;
- undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students; and
- participate in team projects and various committee meetings.

You will work as part of the Institute’s team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission. You will be a creative thinker and avid problem-solver, who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude.
You will possess:
- a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia;
- demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning;
- demonstrated record of research at a national level; and
- organisational and administrative abilities necessary for coordination and administration of units.
