Family First Early Learning are a Family Owned and Operated Centre in the Rural are of Virginia, NT.

We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Room Leader (CSE 4.3) for our busy Toddler Room of 20 Children per day. This is a full time position of 38 hours per week on a rotating roster. Annual Remuneration $70,000.

Position Description :

The Room Leader will support the day – to – day operations and objectives of the service by consistently working within the service philosophy, values and policies.

Responsibilities include:

• supporting the program and team members to achieve high quality outcomes for children • providing consistent, active engagement with children in keeping with the service philosophy and policies • ensuring the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic & safe • Contribute to the ongoing service Quality & Improvement Plan.

Person specifications: Qualifications: • Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care • Senior First Aid Certificate /CPR / Asthma & Anaphylaxis • Ochre card • Mandatory Reporting

Full time employees are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave per year, paid public holidays and 10 days sick/ carers leave per year of employment. 2 x Mental Health Days and Birthday Leave.

Part time employees are entitled to proportionate annual leave, sick leave and public holidays
