Global Testing Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Technical Services department in Bunbury. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to our dynamic organisation. Key responsibilities and tasks:
• Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
• Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery such as transformers to ensure optimal functionality
• Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications accurately
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes through innovative ideas and suggestions
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during testing procedures
• Providing technical support to internal teams as required
This role will require some flexibility to work away from home as needed.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members

• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, or 2 years relative experience in this area
