Perioperative Services Cabrini Brighton prides itself on continuing the community hospital experience from back when the site was known as Brighton Community Hospital, from the moment staff or patients walk into the hospital the sense of compassion and care is at the very forefront. Cabrini Brighton Perioperative Services is a caring yet dynamic environment with 5 operating theatres and 1 stand-alone endoscopy suite. Providing a range of surgical specialties from Orthopaedic to general breast surgery, urology and ophthalmology with approximately 800 operations each month, ensuring patient centred care. Our day-of-surgery admissions focus on every patient having a positive experience with their admission to theatre, while our Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit and discharge lounge cater for all specialist post-operative care requirements. Our nurses work in several different areas and specialties including.

Anaesthetic/Recovery
All scrub specialities including Orthopaedic, Urology/Gynaecology ENT, Plastics Ophthalmology, General surgery, Oncoplastic Breast surgery, Endoscopy & Paediatric surgery.
Admission and Discharge lounge.


The roles available

Associate Nurse Unit Manager Endoscopy
Clinical Nurse Specialist (Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU)
Registered Nurse ( Scrub/Scout Orthopaedic, Anaesthetics/PACU, Endoscopy)

About You You will be a Registered Nurse/CNS/ANUM with recent experience in Perioperative Services and with an interest in further developing skills to deliver excellent patient care. You will also have:

Current AHPRA registration
Relevant Perioperative Services experience
Victorian Working with Children Check
Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Attention to detail
Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
