Diesel Mechanics DARWIN / TOOWOOMBA / WEIPA Position Title: Diesel Mechanic Position Reference: G5009 Direct Report: Leading Hand [G5024], Workshop Manager [G5033], Branch Manager [G5026] Indirect Report(s): Maintenance Manager [G5004] Responsible For: Apprentice [G5018, G5020, G5039] Core Objective The primary objective of the Diesel Mechanic role is to ensure that all Ezyquip Hire plant & equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. This role is responsible for the provision of technical mechanical advice and support to the management and operating teams, and their clients as required. The Diesel Mechanic will accurately perform all duties with due consideration for Workplace Health and Safety requirements and regulations. This role is also responsible for providing workplace training and mentoring to apprentices across all functional mechanical areas.
