An exciting opportunity waits for a skilled and experienced Laboratory Trades Assistant within our clients esteemed Institute's Facilities Management Department. As a Laboratory Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting FM technicians in the service, repair, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities, ensuring general cleanliness and aesthetics, and contributing to the smooth running of relevant activities within the Institute. Key Responsibilities:Disposal of Scientific Equipment: Coordinate and supervise the removal and disposal process of designated assets within the lab environment, such as incubators and biosafety cabinets. Ensure compliance with relevant procedures, handle decontamination, and manage necessary documentation.Disposal of Refrigeration Equipment: Oversee the proper disposal of refrigeration equipment, including freezers and fridges.
