Planning Officer Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight $88,066 - $99,656 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 4-5 depending on qualifications) Superannuation Location ? Rockhampton Your new role Deliver planning and development services to the Council, public, and external agencies in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner, fostering strong working relationships. You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the Planning Scheme, including implementing the provisions of Council?s Planning Scheme, assessment and review of development applications and reporting to Council. Carry out site inspections and process planning applications for developments in accordance with the Planning Scheme and related legislation. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check). What we are looking for Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning (or relevant discipline) and/or equivalent demonstrate experience in a professional town planning environment.
