About You As a Sweeper/Waste Operator, you will thrive in a hands on, physical work environment. About the Role This is a hands-on position that requires presence, professionalism, knowledge and a strict adherence to City of Melbourne and Serco expectations in relation to waste management and cleansing within Melbourne’s high profile and highly used Open Space network. As a Sweeper/Waste Operator you will be required to service general waste and recycling bins utilising a Rear Lift Compactor Truck and/or side lift utility vehicle, undertake basic cleaning and maintenance to waste management infrastructure as required, utilise hand tools and blowers to maintain paths and hardstand areas in a clean and safe condition for public use and undertake any other duties as directed.
