The successful candidate will be an analytical planner with manufacturing experience, able to optimise material flow and solve supply chain issues to ensure efficient, cost-effective production. Responsibilities: Optimise material flow through collaboration across departments and suppliers. Proactively address raw material issues to ensure smooth production. Develop cost-effective purchasing plans that meet supply needs and on-time delivery. Monitor key metrics to identify and improve purchasing processes. Manage product lifecycles and oversee bulk finished goods transportation. Key skills and attributes required for the role: Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience (preferred). APICS certification (desirable). Prior experience in the chemical industry or a manufacturing environment (preferred). Experience with manufacturing systems, MRP, and computer scheduling (preferred).
