About the role This position is situated within MacKillop Family Services South West Emergency Care for Children (SWECC) Program. This program is responsible for providing in-home practical support and childcare services to families in crisis in locations across the South West of Western Australia. The Family Support Worker provides home-based emergency care to children within the family and provides practical supports to families in crisis. Working under the direction of the Team Leader to provide regular in-home, practical and emotional support to families in crisis. This is a Causal opportunity based in South West Region Bunbury within our South West Emergency Care for Children (SWECC) Program. The position reports to the SWECC Team Leader. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience working with at vulnerable and risk families and children to address practical issues within a home, including the emergency care of children.
