Reporting to the Coordinator City Design, you will play a lead role in pursuing design excellence across Council. The role will be responsible for bringing about positive change in the City through the design advice, advocacy, projects and policies delivered from within the City Design unit of Council.You will be involved in urban design analysis, preparation of masterplans and frameworks, feasibility studies, preparation of plans, development and input into policies, strategies and technical guidelines; referrals from other Council branches for expert design advice; and project management that relates to the development of key capital projects.Key Responsibilities Core projects within Maribyrnong's Metropolitan Activity Centres - Footscray - and the major and neighbourhood activity centres.
