HSEQ Officer/Manager Your new company Your new company is a family owned construction business in St Peters looking for an experienced and strong Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Officer to join their business reporting directly to company directors. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced officer looking to gain experience and step into a stand-alone manager role. Your new role In your new role you will be responsible for:
Driving continuous improvement in safety & compliance
Ensuring HSEQ policies across the organisation P
Promoting a culture of safety and environmental sustainability
Revive Safe Systems of working and conduct quality incident investigations
Participate in Risk Management activities
Providing functional support for HSE systems and processes to assist with the continual improvement of our ISO 45001 compliant HSE Management System
Undertaking audits, incident investigations and reporting
Provides advice and support to supervisors and managers regarding Safety issues
Participates in communication and training initiatives with staff at all levels
Conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to minimise workplace hazards
Investigating incidents and hazards, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions
Coordinating the servicing of emergency response equipment and ensuring its readiness
Procuring safety equipment and ensuring its proper distribution and maintenance
Injury management and return to work coordination
What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will ideally:
Hold relevant third level qualifications
Have experience from a broad role within Demolition, Construction or Waste Management organisation
Hold a valid driving licence
