HOBAN has partnered with a prestigious leading provider of Land, Sea, Air Freight and Data Solutions organisation who are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Supervisor to join their NSW Team.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be willing to undertake a NV1 Security Clearance which will be conducted by our client. This position is responsible for overseeing the Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators and staff and the provision of logistics operational functions such as Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Trucking Coordination and the generation and maintenance of operational documents, reports and correspondence in accordance with company and customer requirements.

As a Data Centre Operations Supervisor, this role is accountable for:
Ensuring the operational processes in the Data Centre adhere to customer and company processes and polices
Assembly of customer's finished product at customer premises meets contractual lead times and schedule
Ensuring the operational processes in the Data Centre adheres to customer and company processes and polices.
Direct, monitor and manage the activities of Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators in the to extend individual skills and achieve overall business objectives.
Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
Set the priorities for the team though delegating tasks and managing workloads with team members
Coaching and mentoring the team on best practice and implementing training to increase performance.
Meet financial targets
Implement company's Labor Management Program
Undertake department and staff performance reviews in accordance ISO 9002 accreditation.
Ensure company WH&S policy and procedures are implemented and maintained
Management of compliance and corporate operational procedure
In order to suceed in this role, the below experience and qualifications are required:
Minimum 2 years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Data Centre Leadership or 3PL management position
Engineering or IT based qualifications
Familiarity in using IT platforms
Advanced computer skills
Experience and knowledge of logistics operations
Good awareness and exposure to OHS requirements
Strong experience in building & maintaining Customer relationships
Warehouse Management System Skills (WMS)
Awareness of logistics systems and material handling equipment and providers
