An Experienced Bar & Events Supervisor is Required in Townsville Your new company A local Townsville-based venue is seeking an experienced and passionate Bar & Events Supervisor to assist them with the day-to-day operations of their business. Your new role In your new role, you will be expected to provide efficient bar services to all the clientele, ensuring that all areas of the venue in regard to cleanliness and appearance are maintained to a high standard, and to assist the General Manager with all event requirements, planning, preparation and also with the final staging process. What you'll need to succeed To be a successful applicant for this position, you will need to obtain the following:

A strong and proven understanding of the Workplace Health & Safety Act, including reporting all and any potential risks and hazards within the venue
Fantastic communication skills with a positive outlook
The ability to work well within a team and be a team player
Be able to portray positive leadership skills, the ability to communicate directions and to delegate accordingly
Be well - presented for a client-facing position
The ability to update records where required and recruit and train new employees
Staff rostering
