The role & you MidCoast Council's Community Spaces department manage over 3000 hectares of parks and open spaces, 26 sporting complexes, 84 playgrounds, 32 cemeteries and 560 Council buildings (including amenities, halls, administration buildings). Within this department our Trades team is responsible for providing efficient, cost-effective electrical maintenance (planned or unplanned) on assets associated with this department. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role include: Attending electrical maintenance on a diverse range of electrical assets at our sports field, libraries, parks, public halls and buildings, offices, depots and workshops Provide advice in new electrical and sustainable technologies Work within a team environment across a range of trades to ensure Council assets are in 'fit for purpose' condition Responding to emergency repairs may be required outside of normal working hours; and to be available for 'call-back' service Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a…
