Job Description About the Role: Attention all Junior Secondary PE teachers! Tradewind is excited to collaborate with an F-9 school in Melbourne's West, teaching PE to students in years 7-9, The role begins in early Term 2, offering a full-time ongoing position, with the option for school tours. Key duties: Designing and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate PE lessons that align with the Victorian Curriculum. Providing clear instruction and demonstration of movement skills, sports techniques, and fitness exercises. Conducting physical fitness assessments to evaluate students' strength, flexibility, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness levels. Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment by implementing appropriate safety procedures and risk management strategies during physical activities and sports. Organizing and maintaining PE equipment, sports gear, and facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and accessible for students.
