Roasting Warehouse is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head Chef to run the kitchen of this busy daytime venue.
Roasting Warehouse located in Airport West compliments the urban coffee culture with an ever changing menu on offer from a well equipped kitchen, experienced team and zealous owners.
Responsible for all aspects of the kitchen, you will have a drive to succeed, be enthusiastic about your chosen profession and also have skills to complement this style of dining. You should be passionate about food and keep up to date on current food trends in the Melbourne café scene. You will be expected to produce a changing seasonal menu and daily specials.
You also must have knowledge of HACCP and be experienced in costings, rostering and ordering.
To obtain this role you must demonstrate the following;
• Chef Qualification with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 3 year experience in a similar venue
• Knowledge of all kitchen sections
• Able to work weekends
• An ability to effectively lead and manage a team
