On behalf of our client, we are advertising. Tradewinds Hotel is looking for a Restaurant Manager Manager to join their team based in East Fremantle on a full-time basis.

The Restaurant Manager Manager position is responsible for manage the day to day operations of the Tradewinds Hotel Restaurant ensuring that standards are maintained, profitability is maximized and all customer needs are met.

Key Duties
• Customer service, customer relations, food and beverage sales and staff costs
• Ensure that the Food and Beverage Team is successful in its operation of the department across all aspects of the department.
• Food and Beverage cost control is maintained and kept in line with budgeted values.
• Standards and quality of service and product are met and exceeded wherever possible.
• Ensure that the Food and Beverage Budget result is achieved and ensure that history is recorded and kept to assist with the budget development.
• Efficiency and productivity of the department is maintained to the highest level.
• Health and safety becomes a major focus within the team.
• Menu and wine list compilation.
• Food and Beverage Sales and Marketing and a calendar of events to be completed and a working document to be kept.
• Manage the relationship with all other hotel departments.
• Complete month end reporting on Food and Beverage.
• Ensure that all food and beverage areas are clean and well presented.
• Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority within the department.
• Ensure there is management support and presence visible in the functions, restaurant, and bar areas and throughout the hotel at any time.
• Adherence to Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that enquiries from the media are only responded to by the nominated spokesperson.
• Lead and manage the Hotel Department and employees through the active use of the hotel Values and codes of conduct.
• Duties as requested by your manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in relevant studies essential
- At least two years relevant experience
- Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities at all levels, developed team member principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Developed time management skills.

Salary: $76,000 Per annum.
