The Role:
As a Conference and Event Organiser at Gathering Events, you will lead the orchestration of our events in Sydney with a focus on client-based coordination and logistics. Your primary tasks will include:
• Promoting our events to potential customers, showcasing our unique offerings.
• Responding to client inquiries, providing detailed information on services, costs, and packages.
• Meeting with clients to understand their specific needs and proposing tailored event solutions.
• Arranging and coordinating all aspects of events, including venue facilities, catering, signage, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social activities.
• Overseeing the entire event setup process (bump-in and bump-out) ensuring a smooth operation.
• Negotiating with service providers and managing contracts within budget constraints.
• Ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction during the event.
You Bring to the Table:
• Proven experience in Conference and Event organising, with a strong understanding of client relations and logistical management.
• Exceptional communication skills – able to negotiate and interact with clients clearly and professionally.
• Strong organisational skills – adept at handling multiple aspects of event planning and execution.
• Leadership abilities – capable of managing teams and inspiring excellent performance.
• Flexibility with work hours, including availability for mornings, nights, and weekends as required by event schedules.
