About the role The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of administration support and customer service for the rural hospital. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are: Respond to general client enquiries via phone, email and in person. Assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested. Register patient data onto relevant electronic databases and ensure patient data is updated in a timely and accurate manner. Actively support the use of telecommunication technologies for the purpose of providing health care services across geographic, social and cultural barriers. Ensure prospective patients have been placed on a respective waiting list, booked within the time frame indicated, and maintain this list by ensuring accurate and complete additions, amendments, ongoing verification and appropriate delegations Utilise information to track the movement of patient charts, health fund details, and admission details, ensuring data integrity and patient confidentiality by adhering to approved policies, guidelines…
