Vital role contributing to the preparation of budgets and forecasting
Lead finance transformation projects encompassing processes, people and technology from identification, proof of concept through to implementation and transition to BAU
Provide support to management in analysing business metrics, including presentation and discussion of resulting insights
Work with Corporate Services managers across Finance, IT, Compliance and Legal to review key business processes currently
Work with third party suppliers to review current trade relationships with the view to enhance commercial terms and or services received
Analysis and quantification of risks and scenarios to support decision making
Be involved in change management projects to implement process improvements, with or without new technology, including working with the people in the functional teams impacted by these changes
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Accounting
CPA/CA qualified would be an advantage
Substantial demonstrated accounting experience in a large corporate environment or top tier Chartered accounting firm
Excellent analytical skills with a solutions focus
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A 'can do' attitude and self-motivated approach
Resilient and confident in dealing with challenging enquiries
Demonstrates initiative and ability to work autonomously and under pressure
