Demonstrate your ability to implement systems and processes, including proactively calling clients and visiting sites for logistical planning of manufactured products.
You will oversee mentoring, supporting and leading the logistics team, a staff of 2 to 10 members, and their targets, whilst delivering on safety, productivity, quality and operational movement.
Have the ability and the desire to get in and assist the team with the process, including inducting labour hire workers.
You will utilise general IT systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and ShopPak to manage the flow of jobs.
You will be a positive influence over the team and actively promote a safe and collaborative culture and be able to identify weaknesses in the business and develop solutions to strengthen the business.
What you'll need to succeed To ensure your success in this position, you will have the below.
Demonstrated experience as a supervisor or manager in a logistics or manufacturing setting, overseeing quality, inventory, and supply.
A strong leadership background and managerial skill set, ideally within a fast-paced environment, will allow you to develop the team and deliver excellent results.
The ability to assist the team in the daily duties and get in amongst it, along with a passion for people and processes, will be essential.
Extensive experience working in cabinet making/joinery, or a similar company is essential.
