About the Role Our Technical Development team are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer – Long Term Planning, to oversee mine design, scheduling and reserves reporting. This role will have the opportunity to join at a pivotal time, with new optimisation projects including underground expansions and development plans to come. Reporting to the Superintendent Long Term Planning you will be responsible for delivering the following: Open pit margin ranking and optimisation of the mining reserve Life of Mine pitshell and dump design and reserving Documentation and presentation of strategic mine plans Support the JORC annual reserve review Liaise with the Mid Term planning team ensuring strategic life of mine plans are transitioned into the 2-5 year mid term planning space effectively Support business improvement initiatives within the business as required What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualification in mining engineering, civil or similar.
