Generalist Teacher (Primary 3-6) - Maidstone

MacKillop Education, located in Maidstone, is a Special Assistance School (Grades 3-6) that caters to children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. The students at MacKillop have a history and/or ongoing experience of trauma, and their needs are complex and diverse. Our approach is neuro-affirming and trauma-informed.  About the role: Working with a highly skilled team, the Generalist Teacher will collaborate to develop and deliver effective and engaging evidence-based learning programs suited to our students' diverse needs, while meeting the requirements of the Victorian Curriculum. This may include classroom teaching and/or 1:1 intensive student support as required. Class sizes are capped at eight students, with a teacher and Education Support worker in each class.
