About the roles: Our client is seeking APS5 Complaints Officers AND APS5 Reportable Incidents Officers. General duties are as detailed below. Duties: Assessing and monitoring complaints or reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligence Managing a caseload of complaints or reportable incidents. Assessing and escalating cases for investigation and other action. Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including other governmental/ regulatory bodies, and service providers. Providing education and training to providers in relation to identifying incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse and neglect of people with disability. Prepare complex and/ or sensitive reports, documentation, briefings and submissions. Your profile will demonstrate: Demonstrated experience in similar roles. Experience with disability, regulatory bodies and government are highly advantageous. An understanding of vicarious trauma which may occur through conversations with providers and participants and/or when reading documentation where distressing information may be disclosed.
