10th April, 2024 Shaft Electricians and Underground ElectriciansAs a Shaft Electrician or Underground Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and communications equipment. Multiple rosters on offer –14/14, 15/13, 8/6, 7/7 (project and location dependent) Shaft Roles we FIFO from Capital cities, and Residential Sydney Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, key accountabilities will include: Promoting a culture of Zero Harm, leading by example. Carrying out electrical installations on electrical systems Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and performance testing of the electrical systems related to RUC’s hoisting equipment and associated shaft sinking plant. Routine inspections, installation & fault finding of communication systems Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of the High voltage & Low voltage electrical infrastructure Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever electrical work is carried out, to contribute towards a safe work environment, efficient operation of the facilities and to reduce the risk of incidents…
