Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Physiotherapist at Gold Coast Physiotherapy. The selected Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting autonomous physiotherapy consultations which include assessments, diagnosis, developing, implementing and monitoring treatment plans. Our treatments are comprised of both hands-on and exercise intervention. A good candidate will be able to connect and collaborate with the wider healthcare network for best patient outcomes. Minimum of 1 hour of professional development training with a senior physiotherapist / week.
Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy
Current registration and compliance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Professional indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
Australian Drivers Licence
Skills & Experience
2+ years experience desirable however, an enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow is most desirable
Excellent knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal therapy, exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques
Ability to conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, develop and implement personalised treatment plans
Experience in providing hands-on therapy and monitoring treatment progression
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving, autonomy and team work skills
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with patients wider healthcare team
Additional certifications or specialised training in areas such as Women's Health, Clinical Pilates or Paediatric Physiotherapy is highly desirable
Role Hours and Pay Rate
16-24 hours (2-2.5 days) / week
