MPI Recruitment are currently working with one of our international clients, searching for a Senior Technical Specialist for their underground machinery fleet on their mine in Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the Maintenace Manager, you will have a team of Technical Specialists reporting in to you, with a focus on not only suitably maintaining the underground equipment, but also mentoring and training the local workforce on all facets of their role and building the local skillset and knowledge base. The underground fleet includes Sandvik drills and boggers, CAT and Sandvik trucks, as well as Shotcrete and Charge Up equipment. The fleet is near new with an age of 2-3 years.
