This position will be the operation focal point for coring projects across Australia as assigned by line manager. Working in conjunction with Coring Sales, DSE and Country Management; the function of the Coring Coordinator shall be:
1) Pre-job planning, which includes:-
a) Job specific recommended equipment, highlighting coring hazards and mitigations.
b) Risk assessment of each job.
c) Equipment check lists.
d) Coring procedures.
e) Processing the core, cutting, gamma logging etc.
f) Recommendations for shipping.
2) Assist with organising pre-job design meetings.
3) Ensures that team has full recommendations and procedures for each job and that they are agreed upon.
4) Works with Drilling team to establish time/cost estimate.
5) Help establish best work area and layout with rig and lab personnel.
6) Coordination of coring equipment.
7) Coordination of coring personnel.
8) Interface with Company subsurface & Drilling Team, core laboratory and core handling crew.
9) Attend operational daily meetings.
10) Assesses core condition at lab base.
11) Compiles end of well coring report.
12) Completes draft invoice, reviews with Drilling Team.
13) Reviews performance with company.
14) Interfaces with PL for design / operation changes where necessary.
15) Ensures changes in procedures and equipment are managed correctly.
16) Reviews all local QHSE information & distributes through-out reporting lines
17) Initiate QHSE incident / accident reports & close outs.
18) Trains & Mentors Senior Field Technicians, Assistants, Trainees & Drilling Solutions Engineers; performs shore based competency assessments.
19) Undertake competency training as designated by NOV Competency Programme & Achieve Online requirements.
For LMT purpose: Annual Salary for the position is ranging from AUD$110,000 - $130,000
