Engineering Surveyor and Survey Technician

ATK Surveying is currently seeking for an Engineering Surveyor and Survey Technician to join our growing survey team working on Full-time bases for our civil and residential project across NSW using the latest surveying equipment and software's. Any experience with Leica total station and 12d will be an advantage but all the support and mentoring will be provided by the senior surveyors.

Responsibilities:

Conduct accurate surveys using various surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners and levels
Collects, records and evaluates spatial information and prepares databases, maps, charts and plans in support of Surveyors.
Establish and verify site survey control points to ensure accuracy in survey measurements
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and relevant regulations.
Identify any possible issues before and during construction.
Travel to locations and use known reference points to determine the exact location of important features.
Assist Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors to furnish precise survey data essential for project planning and design phrases
Uploading and checking machine control data and providing technical support to the site foreman, site crews and machine control operators.
Requirements:

Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential and must be Competent to interact with clients, property owners, and other professionals, such as engineers and architects.
Must be able to clearly convey survey results and explain technical information in a way that is easily understood.
Experience and knowledge of using GPS/Total Station for construction set out on civil works i.e. earthworks, drainage and services is desirable.
A Formal Survey Qualification at least Diploma level is an advantage.
Experience in all aspects of Engineering and Civil Surveying
2+years plus in a similar role
Knowledge of Leica survey equipment and 12d would be advantageous.
Valid NSW driving license and current NSW white Card
