08th March, 2024 About the role Our Workplace Relations & Safety team is seeking a lawyer with experience in personal injuries litigation. Working closely with our experienced Special Counsel and Partners, this role will involve representing injured workers in WCRA claims and defence of PIPA claims in both pre-court procedures and court representation.    Day to day you can expect to: Provide advice on prospects of success of WCRA common law claims Provide advice and prepare submissions for WorkCover statutory claims Advising on limitation periods in liaison with senior practitioners Drafting and collating Notices of claim for damages under WCRA Responses to PIPA claims Liaising directly with clients Preparing lists of documents and attending to discovery processes Coordinating and preparing for conciliation conferences under the relevant pre-court procedures Attending conciliation conferences representing clients as advocate Drafting Statements of Loss & Damage and Expert & Economic Evidence Prepare briefs to Counsel and other court documents for…
