Your day to day
From our guests arrival to the resort to their departure, your role in delivering flawless, genuine and personalised service, sharing unrivalled insider knowledge on “all things” Hayman Island and more, will create exceptional immersive luxury experiences for our guests and create Hayman memories for life.
A confident and outgoing communicator with excellent attention to detail, you will ensure a luxurious experience for our guests, connecting them with their room, resort facilities and their home away from home.
As a Porter, your day to day will involve;
• Assist guests with resort event or activity information and bookings.
• Escorting guests to their rooms and providing an in-room orientation.
• Undertaking guest transfers across the resort as needed.
• Assisting guests with anything from bill issues to local knowledge.
• Jumping into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.
• Ensuring all Guest Vehicles are well maintained and presented at all times and regularly cleaned.
What we need from you
Charisma, warmth and natural charm, you know what it takes to connect with guests and exceed their expectations. With previous experience in Front Office. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of previous experience in a Bell Attendant, Guest Service role or similar role, you genuinely enjoy making people feel special by delivering luxury and engaging service that can only come from the heart. With strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box, you’re also physically fit and able to lift luggage and other items as needed to assist guests. You Must be able to start by 06 May 2024 and have the ability to live and work on Hayman Island, Queensland along with appropriate working rights along with a full and current drivers licence.
What we offer
Hourly rate of $24.14 on a permanent full time contract (Hayman Island Enterprise Agreement 2023) with a minimum of 38 hours per week with appropriate Australian working rights
