MacKillop Education is a Special Assistance Catholic P-12 School that comprises of three school campuses; Geelong, Maidstone and Caulfield. It caters for children and young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. The students referred to MacKilllop have a history and/or ongoing experience of trauma and their needs are complex and diverse; self-regulation is difficult for our students and this can result in challenging social and emotional behaviours. We have a Permanent Part-time (22.8 per week) opportunity available based in Maidstone, VIC within our MacKillop Education Program. About the role: The Speech Pathologist provides high level support, addressing the therapeutic language and speech needs of individuals and groups of students. The Speech Pathologist works closely with the Learning and Teaching team, as well as students and teachers in the classroom.
