Health and Wellbeing Counsellor

Position Description: We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Counsellor to join our Counselling Service. Within a team and supported with regular supervision, you will be responsible for provision of a professional counselling service to clients and staff regarding a broad range of personal, work and psycho-social issues. ·         You will have excellent communication skills and experience working in an environment that embraces diversity. You’ll be able to navigate complex situations, anticipate risk and plan accordingly. ·         You will build credible, trusting relationships to achieve positive outcomes for all people we work with, and use your knowledge and experience to create opportunities that improve the lives of people from your community. ·         You will have (or be prepared to obtain) a NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
