Key responsibilitiesAccountabilities include your ability to:• Develop and deliver integrated strategies for branch communication and community engagement activities within an overarching department-wide strategy.• Provide high level program management and team leadership to deliver high quality outcomes and customer service, within required deadlines in a dynamic work environment.• Provide strategic advice and expertise on communication strategies, engagement strategies and issues management to improve relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).• Work with the department's Communication Services Team and Media Unit to help provide advice to the Minister's, Director-General's, Deputy Director-General's and General Manager's offices, including identifying opportunities and preparing communication materials.• Review and provide input into communication material, executive correspondence, and consultation plans for major and/or sensitive matters such as planning studies, construction and projects, to help identify issues and risks.
