The center is dedicated to recruiting and training doctors to work across the range of rural practice. As a team, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive services to Goondiwindi Hospital and outreach locations like the Boggabilla Health Centre. We actively participate in the Rural Junior Doctor Training Program and offer intern year placements. Our interns have the valuable opportunity to provide patient consultations under the direct supervision of our senior General Practitioners.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a General Practitioner at Goondiwindi Medical Centre. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care services, conducting patient consultations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and coordinating patient care. This role is predominantly located at our facility in Goondiwindi, but some flexibility for remote work is available.
Qualifications
Medical degree and valid medical license
Experience in family medicine and primary care
Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
Ability to provide comprehensive training and mentorship to junior doctors
Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
