We are seeking qualified stonemasons to join our fast growing team. Wilmoore Allstone is a family owned operated business with more than ten years experience building beautiful and intricate stone homes. Our friendly and diverse team all share a great passion for stonemasonry and work together to create eye-catching show case homes. You will carry out all duties expected of a qualified stonemason including the laying and carving of different stone, supervising apprentices and assisting the team leader with the management of projects. Our current jobs are in Melbourne so we prefer applicants to be based in that city, however, if you are regional and are prepared to travel we can provide accommodation.

Salary $65k- $70k per annum plus superannuation
To be Considered for this role, you must:
Qualification: Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience
Studying plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding
Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and spreading layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks using trowels
Laying bricks in rows, designs and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints
Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar
Checking vertical and horizontal alignment
Cutting, shaping and polishing stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces
Repairing and maintaining bricks, cement blocks and related structures
Designing and cutting monumental masonry and lettering
Constructing walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks
Demonstrate high attention to detail and quality finish to all work
Hold a white card
Hold a current driver’s license
Have high physical ability/endurance
Show excellent organisation and time management skills
Preferred 5 years of experience.
