Collinsville Open Cut – Internal Applicants Only Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.  Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation. Collinsville also offers accommodation provided at the on-site village boasting comfortable facilities.   Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor, you will be responsible for the team’s safe and efficient operation of our fixed plant asset.  Your knowledge of optimising our fixed plant asset will allow you to improve the performance of existing systems and processes.
