Located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and employs approximately 250 people to run the underground mining, open cut, and ore processing operations. Charters Towers is close to Townsville and the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, and it offers all the facilities you would expect in a large regional town. The role is residential/DIDO based in Charters Towers working a 8/6 roster 12 hours a day. About the role: Assist with the development of the geotechnical standards applicable to underground and open pit mining. Work with Mine Planners to assist with the optimisation of stopping sequencing for good mining practice and predictable results.
